This week I went to my first So Chic – a pre-loved clothes and accessories sale arranged regularly by two stylish French mums. I was not disappointed and every inch of the gorgeous D:Tales store on Beach Rd., was packed out with Chanel bags, Isabel Marant dresses and Louboutin heels! Mon dieu!

Jumeirah’s chic French madames were out in force at the 8am opening. It was a treat.

I bagged a pretty Paul Smith Junior smock and a delicate gold snake bracelet. Next time I’ll get there even earlier, with a huge tote to fill and lots of readies to spend!

Find out about the next sale HERE.

I also popped in to LIFE N ONE after nursery drop-off to have breakfast with a friend one day. What a find! Hidden in an old villa behind Magrudy’s, is Dubai’s newest indoor/outdoor yoga and pilates studio and cafe.

The gardens feel like a Goan retreat and the menu is healthy and inexpensive. I predict it will be very popular when the weather cools again and it’s a lovely spot for an alfresco coffee, bite to eat or a yoga stretch with a date, the girls or the kids.

I went to Life N One with my friend Aimee, who’s also just launched a line of organic, bamboo cotton tees available at The Change Initiative and from HERE. It’s called Baembu, check it out.

On Wednesday I had lunch with my friend, Tuesdayschild Feature mum, FARAH of LOVESWEETSTUFF at COVE BEACH – Dubai’s most stylish new beach club.

I’d been at the opening, which was a who’s who of Dubai society(!), but at night. So it was lovely to see the spot in it’s full day-time beach glory. I’m also going to hosting a Tuesdayschild baby shower there on Saturday for the GAP #mylittlefirsts competition winner. It’s the perfect space for a special ladies lunch!

I went to the launch of the annual food fest last night. There are some great deals to be had accross Jumeirah outlets from Pier Chic and the Ivy to the Noodle Room. More on that HERE.

Enjoy the long weekend!
